Wake & Ski Comp and Rail Jam at Bow Lake this Weekend!
Bow, Washington (August 14, 2012) – Looking for some summer fun? Join the INT League this weekend August 17-19 for the Northwest INT Season Finale. This is the last stop in the Northwest’s tour of amateur through pro waterski, wakeboard, wakeskate, kneeboard and wakesurf events.
The event will be held at Bow Lake, a private waterski and wakeboard lake near Bow Washington. Bow Lake Watersports will host practice on Friday evening ($10 for 4 passes), and the event will commence on Saturday at 7:45am and conclude with the State Championship awards on Sunday afternoon.
Everyone is welcome to participate! The divisions are based on ability, with a few exceptions for age and gender. Whether you just learned or have been competing for years, there is a division for you. INT events are nationally consistent, focused on fun, and designed to encourage you to take your skiing and riding to the next level.
This event will feature all day entertainment, free for spectators, free camping, super hero costume contest, games, awards, and prizes.
Saturday evening, Bow Lake Watersports will host a night time Rail Jam featuring some of the area's best rail riders under the stadium lights. Bow Lake's course has rail five features where riders will have two laps and 2 falls per round. Signups close Friday, August 17th at noon. Entry fee is $15 per rider.
Throughout the event, a canvas created from 12 Hyperlite wakeboards will be graffitied by two local artists. Following the rail jam, the mural will be divided and raffled off to the crowd. The festivities will include a DJ spinning live music.
Western Washington University is providing a fund raising concession stand throughout the weekend. There will be a catered dinner on Saturday night for participants and their guests! $15.00 per person, please pay on line when you register for the weekend. Drinks will be provided by Seattle's Redhook Brewery, Challenger Ridge Winery and Monster Energy.
The events are towed by the best boats in the watersports industry: Nautique, Malibu, MasterCraft, Tige, Supra, Moomba, and Axis.

Skiers and riders need to bring their ski or board and a life jacket; all other equipment will be provided. Wakeboarders are welcome to bring their own rope; slalom skiers are welcome to bring their own handle. Proline and Accurate ropes and handles will be available as well.
At the conclusion of this event, riders and skiers will make their way to Villa Lagos in Northern California September 14-15 for the Western Regionals, where participants will compete individually and as a team for the Championship trophy.
