Shane Hill won the inaugural round of the Ez Fin Tool Challenge (EZFTC). Shane crushed the competition by improving on his 2009 USA WaterSki average by almost 1 ½ passes (8.83 balls). Second and third place were taken by the father and son team of Zap and Braden Doane who improved by 2.17 balls and 3.5 balls respectively. Gail Heinrich, Robert Scholl, John Roeder, Tomas Scholl and Joe Darwin took places fourth though eighth with scores better than their 2009 average.
