Is it worth the upgrade

I am currently skiing on 2006 D3 Custom x5, 65". I run the occasional 32 off. But battle with it.

I am looking to upgrade the z7.

 

Is it worth the upgrade to the z7 or should i be looking at different ski.

the problem is that i live in South Africa.

So the only way for me to try other skis is to ski on other people skis. I have tried the HO A1, i really enjoyed it though only had 2 sets.

The X5 is a great ski they dont make them like the 06s anymore. Tynan and Larson will not give them up for the latest and greatest. If you have the cash it may be worth a try, but the Z7 will not buy you 6 balls.

I understand that by buying a new ski i am not going to get 6 balls.

Though i was just wondering if there is much difference between the 06 x5 and the z7

The last I knew, D3 has a performance guarantee. If you are willing to eat the shipping, it could be worth a shot.

The shipping is going to cost 300 us dollars. So its out of the question. Is the z7 alot faster than the x5 and whats it like in the rough?I liked the a1 for its angle out of the bouy.
