hammer
I have an '03 RLxi and the steering is getting pretty stiff, hard to turn the steering wheel. Should I assume it's the cable and replace it or are there things I should look at first ? If replacement is the answer, is it difficult ? Any tips ? Baller AggieSkier Posted June 16, 2011 Baller Share Posted June 16, 2011 After greasing the rudder. Disconnect steering cable from the rudder. Turn the wheel & if it is difficult to steer replace the cable.
Baller Not_The_Pug Posted June 16, 2011 Baller Share Posted June 16, 2011 Not difficult to replace steering cable. Just tie a rope to one end and pull it through. Then attach the new cable to the rope and pull it back through. I had to do my Nautique last year, made it so much nicer to drive. Kevin
