Baller SkiRV Posted July 3, 2011 Baller Share Posted July 3, 2011 We usually ski behind a CC with ZO and drew a Malibu for Nationals. Just wondering, does anybody change ZO settings between different boats?
Baller ntx Posted July 3, 2011 Baller Share Posted July 3, 2011 I train behind a 09 CC and run b2. I run b2 on everything except the new CC's (10 & 11 model year) when I run A2. I never feel like I can get free of the boat with b2 on the new design.
Baller dave2ball Posted July 3, 2011 Baller Share Posted July 3, 2011 You might be a good idea to change the setting on different boats. The Malibu does not have a gear reduction where as the MC and CC does. So you may want to up your letter because the pull will be softer.
Old MS Accout
I ski B1 behind all the boats. Reaction feel should be close to the same.
Baller ForrestGump Posted July 3, 2011 Baller Share Posted July 3, 2011 If anything, the Bu feels stronger to most everyone I know. I ski C1 behind the 200 and 197 and B1 behind the malibu.
Administrators Horton Posted July 3, 2011 Administrators Share Posted July 3, 2011 I saw the pros change settings a lot during practice for the GoldRush. The difference is they know exactly what they are doing. I stay at B2 for all boats all the time because I do not want another factor Goode ★ HO Syndicate ★ KD Skis ★ MasterCraft ★ PerfSki Radar ★ Reflex ★ S Lines ★ Stokes ★ Baller Video Coaching System Become a Supporting Member or make a One-time Donation

Baller Bill Gladding Posted July 4, 2011 Baller Share Posted July 4, 2011 I agree with dave2ball. Last tourney I was in third round was Malibu and It felt softer than the 200 and 197 before it. I almost went up a number. Probably will next time if I get the same feeling on my first two passes.
Baller Ed_Johnson Posted July 4, 2011 Baller Share Posted July 4, 2011 Is there any rule in place that limits how many times you can change your setting in a Tournament set?
Baller Razorskier1 Posted July 5, 2011 Baller Share Posted July 5, 2011 I run C2 on all boats and run the same scores on all. Don't over think it.
Baller Roger Posted July 5, 2011 Baller Share Posted July 5, 2011 @Ed Johnson - You can change your ZO setting every pass if you wish; no limit.
