Baller Edmund Posted July 26, 2011 Baller Report Posted July 26, 2011 I have not skied Laurel Lake this summer, but I did the past six years and was a member of the ski club there. Very nice course even though it is a public lake, and there is a no wake zone for the ski area. During the weekdays you will probably have the place to yourself except after 6:00 p.m. when the local skiers show up after work (one guy runs into 39 off). Overall a very nice lake with relatively clear water for a southeast lake. To find the ski course from the Flatwoods boat ramp, hang a right on the main lake, about a minute later hang another right up a large bay, at the end of that bay hang a slight left (you will see that no wake bouys).
