Obrien Sector Binding?

I am looking to replace a pair of Radar Rail bindings. I am looking for something similar and have read a lot about the Radar Vector, which looks like the prime contender. I have not been able to find much info on the Obrien Sector, which looks pretty similar. I am basically looking for a lasted boot that is a little higher, lighter, and stiffer than the Rail and wonder how the Sector compares to the Vector. I can get the Sectors for about $30 cheaper per boot than the Vectors, which plays a role as well. If there are other ones I should look at a well in the same price range, let me know. I am just an open water skier who only goes in a course once a year or so.

Probably not many people on here have used either of those bindings, since most people here are in the course. Obrien makes decent products and I like the fact that they have a no questions asked send you a new one policy if your bindings break. No chance that you can spend a few more bucks and get some Radar senate boots? SOOOO comfy.

Either the the thread got burried, nobody has the equipment you're asking about, or a little bit of both.

 

I can't keep tract of Radar boot names. If the Rails were 1 step below the RS-1's, the Vectors are the equivalent product.

 

The Sectors look similar, but you can't always tell. Radar boots are a known quantity to you. If you can't see or try a pair before buying, I'd stick with what I know.
