I have one switch between that and a gooru vest. the gooru allows for more movement but holds a lot of water and rides up when I'm in the water. the TNT doesn't hold much water or ride up (tighter fit) but isn't as flexible in the mid section as the gooru.

6balls-

I've actually worn all three- love the SL but it always feel apart due to poor stich quality; wore the HO Syndicate for a few years- similar in make to the SL but with better quality but also a bit more bulk; both SL and HO vests don't take on any water whatsoever; switched to the TNT this year and like it due to it's longer length and adjustability at the waist (in a pullover) but it does take on some water and is also a tad heavier even when dry. All three are great; and all three have their shortcomings...if only the TNT came in a molded-only form it would rock.

@6balls I do not at all miss the buckles, and that's really saying something because I used a heavy duty CGA vest for many years because the "competition" ones couldn't give me enough back support to feel comfortable. The Eagle was a revelation for me. It fixes this problem by having the entire vest be stretchy and tight. It's like one giant back support.

And it's ridiculous how comfortable it is. There is a bit of a learning curve on getting it zipped, though, because it's so stretchy and tight.

@lakeaustinskier I wonder if they just can't keep up with the demand? Sometimes happens if you have a product that's an unexpectedly large hit.

I moved from the O'neil Boost to the Eagle front zip, don't miss the buckles one bit. I will say that I went one size smaller than what the size charts say. They are a tight fitting vests that almost act like a psuedo-compression suit which is why they give you so much support.

I have been thinking of taking the buckles off of my tnt because I don't really think they help much as far as fit, trouble is if I pull them out it would be a pain if I wanted/needed to put them back in again. anyone else tried this??? I would have to say that the next vest I buy will probably be an eagle they look super cool and comfy.
