First there was Alex winning collegiate nationals on her third jump with a broken wrist, dislocated shoulder and a large cut on her head. Baller GAJ0004 Posted August 17, 2011 Baller Share Posted August 17, 2011 No more crashing Krista! That hurts just to watch.. I never took up jumping because everyone who does it gets hurt. The season in PA is just too short to risk injury, but then again I should not talk since I kneeboard and barefoot in place of jumping. I can definitely understand why people do it. It has to be a major adrenaline rush to fly through the air like that. I have been told approaching the ramp feels like you are skiing into a wall.
