Baller JAW Posted November 22, 2011 Baller Share Posted November 22, 2011 We are upgrading our PC's for scoring and jump and I am curious if anyone is runing the jump software on a laptop. If so is there any reason we couldn't run both WSTIMS for Windows and the jump software on the same laptop. It seems like today’s laptops eclipse the hardware recommendations for both of these applications. Any advice?
Baller auskier Posted November 22, 2011 Baller Share Posted November 22, 2011 have a look here and see if this can give you some info JAW. http://awsaeast.org/official/download.php Ive never used WSTIMS (we use european scoring software here in australia), but have many years experience with VJ and VT (I am assuming you are talking about Corsons software). Currently, VJ and VT will not work on windows vista or 7 and I havnt heard of any developments to update the programs to these OS's. Another issue is getting the programs to recognise the capture devices you are using. The most success I have seen with laptop use, is with a PCMCIA capture card, on a laptop with XP... good luck. http://www.utoronto.ca/ski/water/software/vj/index.html
