Taelan28
http://www.ski-it-again.com/php/skiitagain.php?topic=Search&category=Slalom&postid=17439 I've never heard of such a ski. It looks like a RTM ski and judging by the posting its insanely expensive. What do you know about this?
Baller thager Posted January 1, 2012 Baller Share Posted January 1, 2012 RTM ski built in France I think, same carbon graphite as used in Airbus aircraft with a hollow core. You basically 3M velcro the binding plate on. Chet Raley and Thiery Malome used them with great success running into 41 off @ 34 in the course. Not really a free skiing big spray ski but would be like showing up for a stroller race in a Masseratti or lamborgini.

Baller ForrestGump Posted January 1, 2012 Baller Share Posted January 1, 2012 One nice thing about it is they will refinish/refurbish it. Marc Austin had his refinished twice over the last few years. I believe it's vacuum bagged and cured in an autoclave, not RTM.
Baller Ilivetoski Posted January 1, 2012 Baller Share Posted January 1, 2012 Its a Reflex ski. Its a Reflex wrap 8. They are probobly good skis, but I dont see ANY of them on the pro scene. I would really say that the skis made here for 1150-2k are just as good if not better. 90% of the skis you see on the podiums will be ones made here like RadaR, GOODE, HO, Obrien, Connelly. On the other hand at any international tournment at least 90% of the athletes on the podiums are Americas pros. Such as Willie, T-Gas, Rossi, Parrish etc. They may ski for other countries at worlds, but they train in FL and ski the American pro tour.
Baller Ilivetoski Posted January 1, 2012 Baller Share Posted January 1, 2012 Alot of Reflexes team is Asian (the people who ride the skis, all the pros here use the Reflex boot)
Baller MAD11 Posted January 1, 2012 Baller Share Posted January 1, 2012 That looks like an original Warp, not one made by Reflex. They look the same, but don't seem to ski the same. Well worth this price if in good condition and doesn't leak. You see these mostly at 55k and work great. Some of the best Big Dawgs rode them and you see many of them in Europe and LATAM. Shane, I only had mine gone over once and it came back looking better than new. Skied felt the same for over 4 years. Wish I could say that for myself.
