What Time is It?

Checking to see what time the post says; appears to be off by some 4 hours.

When I'm signed in, the time is correct: Eastern Standard Time, which is my time zone.

When I'm not signed in, just checking posts, the times are all off by 4 hours. So, my original post reads 4:00pm when not signed in; 12:00pm when signed in. Strange phenomenon. 4 hours off is something like Iceland or Greenland time.

@edbrazil if you are signed in I believe the system recognizes your time zone when you are not it is recognizing the time zone of the server. @Horton dur

Looks like MattP is correct. My time zone (EST) when signed in. And, the 4 hour difference I'm noting when not signed in is GMT: Greenwich Mean Time. How mean is it?
