Baller Razorskier1 Posted August 19, 2012 Baller Share Posted August 19, 2012 I don't think it matters what division you are in anymore. The guys (and women) at the top of each bracket are putting up unbelievable scores. @gjohnson needs to do some homework and tell me what the top five scores in M3 and M4 were 10 years ago at nationals and compare that to today. I have to imagine the differences are significant. Funny thing about skiing is as you keep getting better you start to think you are "catching up" with the studs in our sport. Problem is, they keep getting better too!!!! Awesome skiing by everyone at Nationals -- hats off to all the new National Champs!

Baller AggieSkier Posted August 19, 2012 Baller Share Posted August 19, 2012 I bet the Open Men was fun to watch as Parrish, Parsons and Rossi tied 3-41. Nate Smith had 1.5 - 41. Any reports on the run-off? In 2002 Lago Santa Fe - Open Men Jamie B. 2-41, T. Winter 2-41, Jeff Rogers 2-41, Rossi 1-
Baller sunvalleylaw Posted August 19, 2012 Baller Share Posted August 19, 2012 That is so cool! I thought long ago as Andy was retiring, how much better can the scores get? I mean, there must be a limit given the length of the line, etc. But it is so cool that people are pushing it further still. Says a lot about the newer skis I would suspect. Maybe zero off too? In any case, it is very cool. Makes a re-newb like me motivated to improve what I am able to do.
