Baller Ed_Obermeier Posted December 28, 2012 Baller Share Posted December 28, 2012 What Horton said. My old worn out body needs the recovery time and the gym time to restrengthen/rebalance/recover. Just wish winter was over sooner, I'm ready to be back on the water. However, to paraphrase, "the mind says yes but the body says not quite yet"... Baller Razorskier1 Posted December 28, 2012 Baller Share Posted December 28, 2012 The only good thing about winter is that my body needs the break. Now, if I didn't have winter then maybe I wouldn't ski so dang much during the summer and I wouldn't need the break. However, knowing that I'm out of the water from November through March, I don't let smooth water go to waste. If the wind isn't wrecking the water, I'm skiing! FrankS
Just finished a great weekend of ice fishing, cross country skiing, downhill skiing, and hockey. While winter is not as fun as summer I am glad we have it.
Baller GAJ0004 Posted January 2, 2013 Baller Share Posted January 2, 2013 I don't mind the downtime. I just wish it would get warm in March. I catch up on my movie, sport, and TV series viewing. My stereo is going constantly when I am home during my time off. During water ski season it is a very expensive dust collector.

Baller Brady Posted January 6, 2013 Baller Share Posted January 6, 2013 Well, as you all know, I hate winter, but I have managed to stay positive and find something good about it. I just got my brand new RadaR with my brand new Strata boots. And, because of my intense hatred of fat, I have managed to drop my first 12 pounds....25 more to go. Here is my baby and I got it in winter, therefore, it is something great about winter!!
