dyldo28
Hello Looking to buy a new slalom ski but with limited chances to get my hand on demos. been slaloming open water on and off for 10 years. starting to get onto a course of late and loving it. on my 2003 f1 i can get through the course 15off 34mph. very capable of running shorter but consistency on my off side turns kills me. i get the feeling the f1 is not the ski to help me progress. im 5,11. 155lb my f1 is a 66. not the most aggressive skier/cant rely on pure strength. are top of the line skis the answer or would i get better results from other skis? not going to be a tournament skier but would love to run 28+ off some time soon. any help would be greatly appreciated. love the site also dyl
Administrators Horton Posted January 9, 2013 Administrators Share Posted January 9, 2013 Coming from that old F1 any high end ski would be better. Baller treyskier Posted January 10, 2013 Baller Share Posted January 10, 2013 You should try a Radar Senate C. A great ski that is easy to ride yet aggressive enough for the slalom course. Check it out here. http://www.summersskishop.com/2012-radar-senate-c-slalom-ski/

Baller GAJ0004 Posted January 15, 2013 Baller Share Posted January 15, 2013 H20ProShop and Performance Ski and Surf of Orlando have demo programs. I bought my last ski in 2008 at H20ProShop, a D3 Nomad RCX. I tried out a HO syndicate A1 for two weeks, but could not adapt to it. I sent it back and got the D3. Go to their website, or give them a call and ask about the demo programs. perfski.com and h2oproshop.com I have bought equipment from both places.
