What Length Ski Would You Buy (if you were me) ?

Thinking of getting an HO S2 or A2.

This would be a ski I would probably keep for a few years.

Per the gym scales the other day, I weigh 149 lbs. I'm 5' 8.5"

Currently I ski at 30 mph, however, I would like to increase that as soon as I'm good enough.

Which length should I get? 65.5 - 66.5 - 67.5 ?

Thanks for the input

At 150 and 30 mph I think the charts would come in at the 66.5 point, I also think the designer of those skis is on the record saying to go up if in doubt.

Although I'm going to try the 67 length Co-X this next summer, and I'm pushing 180 if I don't cut back on the beer.

Thanks fellas. That's kinda what I was thinking. I have a chance to purchase an A2 still in the box from a local dealer. Excellent price, however it's a 65.5. I was thinking it might be a little too short.

Anyone have an A2 or S2 they'd like to sell to a baller? :)

IMHO, @ 30mph I would get on a Radar Senate and never look back. It will take you from 30 to 34 better then most any ski of 2-3 times the price... With a slightly wider platform, it will be a more stable ski well capable of slower 30-32mph. Yet, still a Great 34 mph Ski. I would not get a higher end narrower ski and try to "Ski" at slower speeds. The "Skiing" becomes more like "Plowing" and your progress will suffer.

Optimally, a P6 or a Theory would be your best choice for 28-32mph. (but, not 34mph) A Triumph would be an awesome Ski as well.

I bought my last Theory (almost new) for $100 and take it to 35off w/o issue.
