For the last two weeks, cold and windy...What a Great Day today...Warm, NO wind, NO Walleys...One of the best Big Dawg Drivers is here for the next three days, had the CC200 6.0L, and a New Mapple 6.0...Doesn't get any better than that !!

Oh well, till you walk in from the Lake and the Wife says.."Don't Forget to Power Wash the Driveway and get all the Plants Done.".....Reality..".YES DEAR"...

Hoping Others Have a Great St. Patties Day !!!!

Spent the day in our families restored 1963 Glastron cruising the chain of lakes in Winter Haven FL. Beautiful. Watched the Lego Land water ski show (former Cyprus Gardons) from the boat. Great to see that tradition continued by Lego Corp. Shoulda brought the wide body shaped ski for some slow speed swirving as we passed a slalom course.

First pic is way way back. 40yrs or so. I'm on the red skis. Second pic was a couple yrs back at the Mount Dora Antique Boat Show here in FL. My dad restored it after he sold it (2002) and then got it back 5 yrs later (2007). The gentlemen that bought it passed and the boat sat out in the elements for 4yrs. Storage facility contacted my dad. Told him the boat was still reg to him and he needed to remove it or pay tow costs. The gentlemen's family wanted nothing to do with it as the FL sun had trashed it. After restoration it was named "Second Chance". Lots of looks on the lakes and a blast to drive and even take a set behind. 50 yr old boat this year. 98e2f4eba5f7aea84d2c977f8df458.jpg8bc2561d52c7830684188efa8b153f.png

Just memories at this point..Same color scheme in Blue, without the center windshield lifting up..Had that Flag in the front light and I believe a 50 hp Johnson. It was our first boat on our cabin at Paddock Lake Wisconsin...Off HWY 50, between Kenosha and Lake Geneva.

Put in my first Slalom Course there in 1960 when I was 12 years old...Made it out of Lynco Bleach bottles I had my Mom save all winter.
