D3 Skis recently launched their newest ski, the D3 QUEST, which comes with a new bevel design, increased surface area and a revolutionary new rocker pattern that compliments D3’s patent pending technology of the Rockerblock. This new design allows the Quest to deliver maximum stability and control while maintaining effortless width and symmetrical turns. “We are so excited to bring our new ski and technology to the Atlanta area and work with skiers as they experience the result of our research, R&D and passion,” said D3 sales manager, Paul Crawford. “The Demo Day program will allow us to interact with each skier on an individual basis and help them fine tune the skis and equipment for their needs. It is a very cool opportunity and we’d like to thank BallOfSpray and George Obser for hosting this event.” In addition to the 2013 Quest, D3 will also have their 2013 Quest GS (softer flex), 2013 Fusions and Fusion GS’s on site for testing as well. Princeton Lake is located in southwest Atlanta and is hosting the BallOfSpray Atlanta Pro Am for the second consecutive year during Memorial Day Weekend. However, this is the first year the Demo Day program has been added to the event. Skiers of all levels are invited to partake in the Demo Days prior to the event and then compete in the C-class tournament held Saturday, Sunday and along side the professional skiers on Monday. “The addition of the Demo Days turns Memorial Day weekend into the ideal waterskier’s weekend,” said George Obser, Atlanta Pro Am Event Director. “It provides an opportunity for slalom enthusiasts to try the newest products on the market with the best skiers in the world.Then they have an opportunity to compete themselves and can even make the quick trip to Callaway Gardens to watch the world’s best compete at the prestigious 54th US Masters.
