Baller ToddF Posted August 9, 2013 Baller Posted August 9, 2013 I used to use vinegar a water mix to spray and wipe down the boat. But this year I tried something new. I bought some turtle wax bug and tar remover in a spray form, and mixed it: about 10-12oz water and 1oz of the turtle wax in a spray bottle, Otherwise it would be way to thick for daily wipe downs. It Does a great job for me and it leaves it shiny with a just waxed sheen.
Baller rawly Posted August 9, 2013 Baller Posted August 9, 2013 Could you clarify this please(for us boneheads)is it water, bug&tar remover and also turtle wax or just water and turtle wax bug stuff. Gonna try it. Thanks
Baller ToddF Posted August 9, 2013 Author Baller Posted August 9, 2013 It is turtle wax's brand of "bug and tar remover" in the spray bottle, then I mix it into another spray bottle with water.
Baller skierjp Posted August 9, 2013 Baller Posted August 9, 2013 50/50 white vinegar and windex //// also Rejex wax, trust me
Baller LeonL Posted August 10, 2013 Baller Posted August 10, 2013 @skierjp, (Jim) doesn't the Windex remove what wax you may have on? If so how how often do you use the vinegar Windex solution. I'm not familiar with Rejex wax. What form is it? Spray or ?? Where is it available?
