What's the ONE feature that intrigues you the most about the 2014 Prostar?

At the lake with Shelby today and he said (I'm paraphrasing) it's like MC took everything good from every ski boat ever made and put it into this boat. Quite a statement! But the bottom line that we both agreed - how does it ski and how does it drive?

What do you think?

Though I'm not really a slow speed longer line skier (in my mind anyway...ha), I think advancement in this area is the biggest step in the right direction for the new Prostar. I recall @Horton mentioned looking for the 'bump' and never finding at any speed or line length in one of his reviews. This is impressive. Well done...MC!

Having said that, I'm also thinking of starting a BoS poll where people guess how many more threads/polls we will see regarding the new MC....Ha...Just kidding!...but not really!

I want to find the thread where everyone put in there .02 cents worth on "the perfect ski boat". I bet you will find most of the advancements made in the PS within that thread. Long line wakes are important right now with my daughter skiing. Most everything intrigued me. Cant pick just one.

With my wife skiing at 25mph in the mini course and anxious to get better, I'm going with wake characteristics at long line, slow speed. That'll be even more important when my daughter really starts skiing. None of the other features suck though.

My wife and I skied behind it in Calgary a few couple weeks ago. She says there is no comparison in the wakes between the 197 and the new PStar...she has been hitting the mini-course hard lately and is developing an addiction to skiing. It's a great problem and she is amped about starting to learn the wide buoys. This boat is going to help her a lot next year.

Unreal boat, all aspects intrigued me, but the biggest surprise was how good the wake was at 36 MPH from 22 off to 35 off... I thought this boat would only aid the new skier market...

2014 is going to be a great year for MC.

Hopefully this boat is one of the catalysts that helps a lot of people get over that initial hump of either making the course at all or starting to progress beyond being stuck at 15off/30mph. There's a lot of frustration that comes with constantly fighting just to see any progress in the early stages of the sport. I see a lot of people give the course one or two tries and just say "screw it, I can't cross the wake like that.." Making the wake less intrusive should go a long way toward opening things up to more buoy chasers, which is good for the sport as a whole.

@boarditup - I will see you there most likely. ;)

It sounds like my FIL's ski buddy will be getting rid of his 2012 promo and getting a 2014. I look forward to seeing how the wake is at 28-30 (unless I get a lot better), because the 2012 wake is pretty bad compared to an LXI wake at that speed.

The ski racks and rear seats are probabally the coolest looking feature of the boat to me.
