Did you peak prematurely, on time or to late?.....it's anomalous

Seems every year I end up with very late in the season peak to my perfomance. I've run 38 multiple times in practice (doesnt count blah blah blah) with a lagit 3@39 all well after the Reg and Nats. And 1/2 bouy (4.5) off my PB (5) in the last tourny this yr. Where the heck was this 8 wks ago? Am I alone? Where are you peaking? What's your game plan to solve it if it's 1 or 3?

I prefer to think of it as actually impoving over the course of the season rather than peaking late.

But it's kinda the same thing. Early September is usually my best skiing, and every so often a cold October day features big practice scores.

I agree, I start skiing when the ice goes out and stop shortly before it comes in so my worst is at the beginning of the season and my best is usually towards the end although once it starts getting cold and I'm not getting as many sets as mid summer I don't Improve very much.

@OB But, at least you did bag a solid 1-1/2 @ 39 and PB at your home site before you hung up your gear! :)

Btw @Wish, your poll being "anomalous" is fairly amusing to a nerd like me, especially since when one peaks in a given year could very well be anomalous. It actually took me a moment to realize you meant anonymous. :)

Peaks n valleys. Less ski sets total this year, but 38's on 4 lakes, 5 boats, and 3 speed control systems (PP, gazer, ZO--we talkin' bout practice?!). Only 3 total tourney rounds this year, 2 of them on torched ankle from first round injury...so no 38's in tourney. Oh well, good fun.

@wish "anomalous"...c'mon wish is the king of typo's! (he "ment" to do that above...hee hee) I'm hoping he teaches math :) Also hoping to catch up with him in ORL in 2 wks for some sets. See you soon, Wish!
