So I was given an HO hat at the Masters. Thought that was cool. Then I put it on. Sorry at 45 wearing the fat flat brim hat is not a good look. Any of the normal bill hats available? Like the light color idea as well. Just not into the hip hop look. How about a visor? Some of the Ts look good.

Hey you guys. The deal with New City is a fresh new deal. I am letting him make what he thinks will sell. What you see is just a first pass. Tell @MatthewNantcity what you like and I am pretty sure it will get made.

Don't like the hat. Shape and color is fine but unless you're trying to rebrand the name the font should not change. The BOS "logo" is the text itself and the font is important.

Common John, you throw down support for Skierpalooza in the fight against cancer and pass on a BOS wide brim hat? It would sell. A lot. Especially with the traditional logo.

@wish yeah... No.

@OB watch it. I'm neither a hip hop baller, 15offer or trust fund baby. Granted I am broke but manage to pull together my loose change to buy things.

@klindy you really have no idea how sick I'm getting of that font.. I'm starting to miss the old one. Remember the cursive? I'll break out the old school stickers.

@ob funny. I did not say raise money. I said loose change like between the couch cushions to buy a ballofspray hat. Which I might have to cut beer and coffee out of the diet for a week or two so I can buy one.

if you jackasses would look at the New City site you would see hats with the old logo. It is a new deal we are not sure what will sell. If all you want to do if bitch I really do not want to hear it.

I like the old cursive and the newer block logo for BOS, either on a wide brim hat would be great. Mt dermatologist requires a wide brim hats and I listen to her. It's that or the liquid Nitrogen burning of the barnacles!

@Horton being in a retail business for myself for over 20+ years, here's a tip...listen to the bitching...and don't bitch back, good or bad comments are all good markers for what your consumer wants and what will help you grow your business...the "Ballers" are your customers, I'm sure you wouldn't appreciate your local business you frequent often calling you a jackass...or if your going to smiley faces change tone perception quickly in text : )

@OB has hit the target market on the head, M3 plus skiers...

@klindy is 100% with branding your product, when was the last time Ford changed their logo? Pepsi? GMC? The golden arches?

@jayski if you would or anyone would look at the New City site you would see a hat with THE LOGO. I am not sure about the style but it is just a start.

Hats are on the second page

Just a comment from your ballers in Canada. We have about 8 guys that ski together consistently and everyone has a wide brimmed sun hat that offers great protection. Bring on the BOS wide brimmed hat

Thinkn the wide brim hat idea is gaining ground. And seriously if there is ANY entity on the web for water sports that should be looking out for it's readers when it comes to sun protection it's this one. And I believe it has. What would make a wide brim hat look cooler and get more skiers to wear them..??..THE BOS LOGO of course. It doesn't get any cooler then that.

I get it though. First run at perhaps a new market.....young crowd. It should be given a chance for sure. Why not. While major brands, as stated above, leave their logo alone, they do pitch to folks outside of their demographics to draw more costumers. And it is generally successful. So with that said, GO FOR IT! Bring on the fat hip hop hats and new logo Ts. Not saying you shouldn't. Just saying dismissing something that could literally save lives and be made to look cool with a BOS logo may be a bit premature.

You guys are right, criticism is what helps steer the industry. Constructive criticism is key though. Let em know what you want, but man, don't blast their current efforts.

For me, I feel New City's approach and dropped an order myself. But, keep the suggestions rolling. I know JH appreciates it.

Just shelled out my $$$$ for a couple shirts for support! Will wait for them in the mail.

I almost feel like a biker in some ways who buys a shirt that says support the Red Machine! LOL

I will wear my BOS Support shirts proudly! :)

Generally a safe bet that if I think it looks ridiculous, then it's fashionable. So that may have been achieved.

I'll stick with the old look. And I'll pile on the wide-brimmed hat idea. I couldn't care less if it looks silly -- avoiding sun exposure is important for your skin AND your performance.
