I just got a Masterline Deluxe slide loop mainline. Skied it 5 sets and then measured it with 45 lbs ( I know it's says 20kg or 44lbs, but my weights come in 5 lb increments) tension. Here are the measurements:

9.72

10.22

10.73

11.24

11.99

13.00

14.24

16.00

18.25

Good enough for my use and if I decide to use it in our next tournament.

I guess I should have mentioned that down to 9.75 was as far as I bothered to list. Excellent tolerances. I was being a little sarcastic when I said "good enough for my use".

Decent measurements. If it did get used in a tournament, with heavy-pulling skiers, it will

probably be on the plus side of mid-tolerance if measured afterward. Although, I'd wait the

full 1.5 allowed hours, and keep the line in the shade in the meantime. For sure, those super-

short loops will get longer. But, you might have to borrow Nate for a while to give them a

real workout.
