Each event has $6,000 in prize money. Half of the prize money goes to the very best skiers on site. Half of the prize money goes to the average Baller who puts together a one personally big score. Anyone can win. You throw in your $200 entry and maybe you get back $1,500.00 or not but everyone has a good time.

These events are really for the average Baller. If you ski a few tournaments per year then you have as good a chance as anyone to make some money.

Pros and BigDawg guys as as welcome as the average Baller.

Everyone skis 3 times.

Most of the events are run as Class C but we use the highest level judges and drivers possible.

The whole format is designed to make a ski weekend as fun as possible.

As soon as all the sanctions are official I will announce the dates and locations

All scores will go into the USAWS official score book. All scores at Whitestone, Hilltop and Aquaplex will be Class C. At BellAcqua Prelim scores wills be Class L and scores from the final will be Class C

All scores will also go into a separate Score Book to accommodate the rules of the event

Handicap will be calculated from each skiers USAWS 12 month 3 score average

BallOfSpray reserves the right to tweak individual handicaps and entry qualifications as needed

All scores will be entered into the Cash Prize Score Book without regard to boat speed. The values for 34 MPH scores will be used for 36 mph and 32 mph skiers.

Example: 4 @ 38 off = 100 buoys at 34mph and at 36 mph and at 32 mph and at 30 mph

Seeding for the Head to Head will be as follows:

@dbutcher I made an edit above to include 30. Yes we would love to have you.

If you are in the top 16 after the first two rounds you would go to the Head 2 Head. If not you go to the handicap round. Everyone is on a equal playing field.

How does the tournament really work? (Draft Text)

On the first day, Saturday in most cases, everyone gets two rides. It is run like a normal tournament except that I am also entering your scores into a different score book...

On the second day, the skiers with the top 16 scores from the first day will compete in a head 2 head for $3,000 in cash. The remaining skiers (usually 24 skiers) will compete in a single handicapped round for $3,000 in cash.
