Members acmx
If your skiing, what is your water temp? Curious because I have friends in Orlando and Miami, Fl. that are telling me it's been a cooler than normal winter. Saw @Wish posted a picture today wearing shorts and heater top, I think he's in Orlando, would have thought it was a little too cold down there for that? Baller gregy Posted February 18, 2016 Baller Share Posted February 18, 2016 Its been warmer than average in Central Texas, Mainly that we haven't had any hard freezes this year. We're using full Wetsuits and have been comfortable with exception one day that was 50s and overcast (but glass water).
mikegile
Seattle water temp is about 46* but the water from the shower is 175* which warms you up in a hurry!
Baller _ lpskier Posted February 19, 2016 Baller _ Share Posted February 19, 2016 Board shorts and a heater top weather here in Otown. Lpskier
Baller BRY Posted February 19, 2016 Baller Share Posted February 19, 2016 Here in Palm Beach it's been much colder than normal. Water is 69 now on my lake, was all the way down to 65 a week or two ago. Think air only got to 75 today. But those Northerner's in Orlando get the brunt of the real cold.... Baller Orlando76 Posted February 19, 2016 Baller Share Posted February 19, 2016 Our weather has been warm in Orlando area but last week was the end of a 2-3 week stretch of cool weather. Water temperature last Saturday was 57 yet air was 70 and super sunny. I suspect this weekend will be 60 in the water. Now We're in our windy season until April. Baller jhughes Posted February 20, 2016 Baller Share Posted February 20, 2016 A week ago it was 62 degree water in Ft Myers at Eden ski lake. Now it's more like 70 so we must have brought the heat this week.
Baller bishop8950 Posted February 20, 2016 Baller Share Posted February 20, 2016 NorCal air in the mid 70s and water peaking over 60. Hoping it gets cold and wet in March/April for both the drought and snow skiing!

Baller eleeski Posted February 28, 2016 Baller Share Posted February 28, 2016 February should not have 70f water and 85f air at my desert lake. Fun day but I need to use my toys more - both the plane and the boat had dead batteries. The tractor has a frozen injector pump. And my arms got really tired. Still, FUN! Baller Edbrazil Posted March 2, 2016 Baller Share Posted March 2, 2016 After a relatively cool January and February, Florida is getting to be more Florida-like now in March. Today at McCormicks at 4pm: Air: 78.9F Water: 73.2F. Measured at the starting dock of the boat lake.
Baller _ lpskier Posted March 3, 2016 Baller _ Share Posted March 3, 2016 We have enough open water in Saranac Lake, NY to ski. The problem is the 70 feet of hard ice between the open water and the nearest launch site. Lpskier

Baller Texas6 Posted March 11, 2016 Baller Share Posted March 11, 2016 Got a good rain this week in Houston that filled our lakes up completely after dropping them for shoreline maintenance. Skied my first set of the year today in 72 degree water. There is nothing I can do in the gym in the off season to prepare my body for that. Rusty and sore but damn good to be back on the water
Baller Zman Posted March 12, 2016 Baller Share Posted March 12, 2016 Plenty of warm water, but about 6 weeks or so more rehab, I hope. Then go test my new ACL. :)

Baller_ MISkier Posted March 12, 2016 Baller_ Share Posted March 12, 2016 I wouldn't call it warm water, but it was enough to be liquid. Probably low 40s. Air was 55. Just some easy free skiing for the first day out. Earliest start for me in Michigan. The course isn't in yet at the club lake, so we just hit the public lake for some longer conditioning runs. There will be pain in the next couple days. It looks like we might get another shot midweek next week. The worst slalom equipment I own is between my ears. smalor
No warm water here.....first ski for me and @Dano was this past Sunday with water 2 degrees and air 8 degrees in Osoyoos BC Canada. That's air/water 46/36 for USA friends.
Baller Edbrazil Posted March 13, 2016 Baller Share Posted March 13, 2016 Getting a warm spell in central Florida. Might even see 90 degrees air temperature soon. Meanwhile at McCormicks' boat dock, at 3pm today, it's 88.8 air, and 75.3 water temps.
Baller Dano Posted March 13, 2016 Baller Share Posted March 13, 2016 I gotta give credit to my oneil heater top and my 12 year old ski warm 3/2 wetsuit I wore overtop. Water was 2 degrees Celsius and air 8. That gear kept the chill off.
