Do you leave the manufacturers stickers on your ski

It isn't really a conscious choice for me. The length sticker is on the bottom tip of the ski so I never really thought about it.

Used to be stamped into the mold on some models yrs back or permanent to the top of the ski behind the back boot. Was a file taken to them bake then??

@Than_Bogan you must not have a radar. They put a huge one right in the middle of the ski bottom. Love having to take goo gone to a brand new ski

I leave the size and serial number stickers on, but any other stickers come off.

I see no reason why the stickers are even removable - one of the absolute best parts of the ski:)

I like the clean look... I could not stand the graphics on my old white Quest so I fixed it...

The one that kills me is the small rectangular ski size sticker on HOs. After a year or two the size numbers fade off so you see a blank white sticker on the tip of the ski.

I am kinda ocd about little things like that, I just spent all this money on a ski and if I put as much as a knick in it trying to take a sticker off I would kick my own ass.

One of my ski partners would leave all the stickers on his ski. The size one, the 'who this ski is for one' and even the Radar border line ad sticker.

 

I always jokingly tell him for every sticker he takes off he gets 6 more balls.

A little off topic, but similar, do you leave the ample warning stickers that are plastered all over your boat on? The ones that are thick and come part way off leaving sharp edges sticking up are the most annoying. Getting cut on the edge of a warning label would be ironic:)

@oldjeep Actually, I drive a lot of boats in tournaments over the course of a summer and they all have them. Maybe we all need a big flag hanging next to the bed when we wake up in the morning that says "If you get up this morning you may get hurt or even die". That should cover about everything and eliminate the need for warnings everywhere you turn:)

I have a D3. The only "stickers" on it say the length and serial number and are on the tail. Don't really care about them and figure I'll end up selling the ski one of these days. I stuck a few more stickers on it for fun too.

I take off all size or label type stickers. I left on the plastic protector under the binding they put on for while you try the ski.

There's a reason they are stickers and not printed along with the graphic, I pull mine off before the bindings go on.

For some reason I left the sticker on my Radar. My HO I took them off. Do love stickers though, Just not a manufacture one. Ski might need a BOS sticker tho, my boat has them.
