Baller thager Posted February 28, 2016 Baller Share Posted February 28, 2016 That's classic wood burn found only in California. Is a minor irritation caused by over enthusiastic tree hugging!!!
Baller Zman Posted February 28, 2016 Baller Share Posted February 28, 2016 Right foot forward skier, and def have not skied in quite a while.

Baller_ RichardDoane Posted February 28, 2016 Baller_ Share Posted February 28, 2016 @horton - get more up on your front foot, and tuck your back knee in closer = less burn
Administrators Horton Posted February 28, 2016 Author Administrators Share Posted February 28, 2016 @richarddoane you don't know what you're talking about. How could you since you have to wear a drysuit around. Baller Jordan Posted February 28, 2016 Baller Share Posted February 28, 2016 I guess it's time to ask....if you're over 40, why not wear a spray leg? ;-)

Members CaleBurdick
That's gnarly @Horton! Doesn't Corey Vaughn wear a spray leg? I lose sleep over the fact that someone better than me wears a spray leg.
Members CaleBurdick
I just studied some pics of Corey, maybe it's just a tall sock, I hope so (to help my own ego)
Baller ral Posted February 28, 2016 Baller Share Posted February 28, 2016 I use a spray leg in my back calf to prevent water inside my full 2mm Camaro wetsuit. Only use of a spray leg for real men. And plenty of young women kick my ass, so it isn't about ski level...
Baller DanE Posted February 28, 2016 Baller Share Posted February 28, 2016 My sprayburn always hit my calf where a tendon creates kind of a wedge. Makes the water wear through the skin, very difficult to heal and the healing part gets worse with age so... what goes? OK to wear a spray leg if you're over 40? Administrators Horton Posted February 28, 2016 Author Administrators Share Posted February 28, 2016 @CaleBurdick I think Corey is wearing a sock. He seems to do his one thing... Using a wetsuit spray leg cracks me up. You only need to ski a few rides until the spray burn goes away. Baller RazorRoss3 Posted February 29, 2016 Baller Share Posted February 29, 2016 In college I went to Bennetts over spring break with friends every year, slalomed all 4 sets every day all week. my spray leg was usually an open wound by Wednesday afternoon. Better that than take the shot to the ego of being the only dude there putting a spray leg on.
Baller 2tracmind Posted March 1, 2016 Baller Share Posted March 1, 2016 Wetsuit Spray Leg is fine,,, it is just the PINK neoprene skirt that needs to be worn with it that is the deal breaker.
Baller drewski32 Posted March 1, 2016 Baller Share Posted March 1, 2016 I wore a spray gaurd for like a week when someone told me it was just dragging in the water... probably just to stop be from being a p***. I took it off and was fine within another week. It's just one of those beautiful reminders that you get to ski again after some time off.
