Baller gt2003 Posted March 4, 2016 Baller Share Posted March 4, 2016 Anyone know anything about this boat or skied it? Yes, higher than what I was planning to spend but it's one I would keep for years. No tower but if needed a extended pylon could be bought. Plus, the girlfriend is on board w the purchase... BOAT Panda? What Panda? Thanks @rodltg2 , got in a hurry!

Baller Andre Posted March 5, 2016 Baller Share Posted March 5, 2016 Beautiful boat.Would be a shame to put a tower on this.(My opinion) Hate the steering wheel. My ski finish in 16.95 but my ass is out of tolerance!
Baller jhughes Posted March 5, 2016 Baller Share Posted March 5, 2016 The '15 TXi is such an improvement over the previous years that it's worth thinking hard about putting up a little more scratch for a '15 promo if that's an option. Totally different driving boat IMO.
Baller Zman Posted March 5, 2016 Baller Share Posted March 5, 2016 @jhughes What do you like more about 15 Txi, and assume it is ditto for 16?
Baller_ MISkier Posted March 5, 2016 Baller_ Share Posted March 5, 2016 @jhughes is right. The 15 TXi is a big improvement over the other years. Drives even better and skis great. The engine is more forward in the 15. I think that is responsible for tracking improvements. And, they changed the steering wheel, too. The worst slalom equipment I own is between my ears. Baller oldjeep Posted March 5, 2016 Baller Share Posted March 5, 2016 Lol on the steering wheel. That problem only takes about 15 minutes and $300 to fix.
Baller jhughes Posted March 5, 2016 Baller Share Posted March 5, 2016 The '15 throttle design is a big improvement too.

Baller_ MISkier Posted March 5, 2016 Baller_ Share Posted March 5, 2016 I would really be curious about the price on that brand new 2013. I wonder why they still have it? The worst slalom equipment I own is between my ears.
Baller gt2003 Posted March 5, 2016 Author Baller Share Posted March 5, 2016 Just emailed them about the brand new 2013. Guys, a 15 just isn't in the cards. We are really pushing it spending $39,000 on a boat to begin with. I think I've heard the TXI wake overall is better than the LXI's. Even if it was just as good as the LXI, I'd be OK w that. We just want something fairly new that will be a good ski machine for years to come.
Baller oldjeep Posted March 5, 2016 Baller Share Posted March 5, 2016 $55,850 according to the ad on onlyinboards.
Baller gt2003 Posted March 5, 2016 Author Baller Share Posted March 5, 2016 Thanks @oldjeep ! Not even close to being in my ballpark!
ahopkinsTXi
@gt2003 they have had that 13 sitting on their lot for a long time! I think an inquiry about price would still be worth it. I dealt with Peter at SWS for his aftermarket pylon cup holder solution and he is a great guy!
Baller gt2003 Posted March 6, 2016 Author Baller Share Posted March 6, 2016 I inquired and they said they took a deposit on it yesterday. Just got drivers side pics of the 2013 in Orlando. It looks flawless. Going to pursue it further. Thanks for the input gentlemen
Baller rodecon Posted March 6, 2016 Baller Share Posted March 6, 2016 Sorry for the thread hijack but @ahopkinsTXi what is this aftermarket pylon cupholder of which you speak?
ahopkinsTXi
@gt2003 that is good news about the original boat you posted about. That looks like a beautiful boat too! Adding some lead weight in the bow helps a lot with tracking that the motor shift forward in the 15+'s accomplishes. @rodecon it is modeled after the stock Malibu cup holders they came out with in 2015 at 1/3 of the cost. He designed it better then Malibu's too IMO because the cup holders are more tucked back towards the engine cover so it is less in the walkway. But you can still open/close the cover with no issues. One of the best things I have bought for our boat. My wife LOVES it! http://i1032.photobucket.com/albums/a401/Ahop1188/image_40.jpg
