Baller Andre Posted March 10, 2016 Baller Share Posted March 10, 2016 We use regular turn bouys from whatever brand my ski partner bring back from his Coble trip. Permanent EZ Ed install on small public lake. My ski finish in 16.95 but my ass is out of tolerance!
Baller PatM Posted March 10, 2016 Baller Share Posted March 10, 2016 I have been using the Polyform boat guides for three to 4 years. They are holding up great. I have found that I'm not replacing half of my guides every year as I was doing when we used the balls. They stand up well to abuse and don't come loose as easily. Seeing how many years I've gotten out of them they are well worth the price.
Baller GAJ0004 Posted March 10, 2016 Baller Share Posted March 10, 2016 Spongex for the yellow boat guides, and orange Overton's for the rest.
Baller_ The_MS Posted March 11, 2016 Author Baller_ Share Posted March 11, 2016 We use Spongex but only leave about 4-5 inches above the water line. I dont like driving when they are up any higher so it seems like a waste of foam sitting under water. Thinking about the Polyform boat guides. Baller Gloersen Posted March 11, 2016 Baller Share Posted March 11, 2016 from Wally Skier over 3 years, still bright yellow above the waterline. Taylor-made
Baller waterskicorey Posted March 11, 2016 Baller Share Posted March 11, 2016 We tried using the polyfoam boat guides (air filled) last year on our river course, as we had some issues with our aluminum booms being to heavy and had some a-hole shooting them with a gun. Have used the foam spongex on our course on our lake course for years and they work great
