Hi Guy's Does anybody know if you can get a tow at Berkeley Water Ski Club, San Francisco or do you have to be a member, my daughter maybe relocating to Berkeley, something to do with BioTech, would there be a possibilty of skiing there if we visit her.

Great location in the heart of the Bay Area. Home of the Cal Cup and Novice Nationals. Was an article is WSM a few years back about a weeknight ski league. Skied there every weekend in 94 & 95 unless at a ski event somewhere else like Shortline, BelAqua or Spencer's. Great bunch - Berkeley Waterski Club, Water Skiers of Marin and others! Suyderhoud told me about it when I was at his school. First guy I met when I pulled in was Al Frosini. Are Matt Brandt, Chris Volosing and Craig Ware still skiing there?

The Berkeley Club has two sites, one in the delta, and on in SF. A few of our club members are also members of the Berkeley club. I believe they have Wednesday night ski leagues that startup after Memorial Day.

There is/was also a course near the SF airport.

Berkeley course is in the East Bay , Oakland side of the Bay. The course in the South Bay near "ish" to SF is in Foster City / San Mateo Lagoon. my first attempts at the course we're there followed by happy hour at the fish market. remember some elitist types poking fun at my mB sports !
