The catch, as I recall, was that you needed to identify some USAWS event you were going too. That said, I have no idea how Hilton can check up on the details. So glad you asked, USA Water Ski tries to send out periodic emails and social media posts to keep everyone up to date on the travel discounts currently available. Members are able to save up to 15% at any of the 3,900 hotels and resorts within the Hilton Hhonors portfolio. You can visit www.hhonors.com/waterski or login to your Members Only Section (usawaterski.org) to search the properties and available discounts. I personally have found this discount to be the greater than any other hotel discount on other competitor sites. This discount is not associated with a particular set of events and can be used all over the world. In fact, I ended up using it while traveling overseas just recently. United Airlines also offers travel discounts, in which members can receive up to 10% off of their flights. These discounts are typically associated with the registered list of sanctioned events that USA Water Ski provides each year. However, through the United portal you are also able to save on car rentals and select flights not associated with events. You simply have to play around with it and see what you can find!
