Our club boat (2015 TXi) is having issues with the wait timer. It works sometimes and sometimes does not work. There isn't a pattern. It will work in either direction through the course and also will not work for either direction through the course.

Any ideas?

Is it possible you have The course mapped twice. I have seen this cause problems.

Always remap do not map as new course.

Thanks @robb. One of the club members said they remapped the course this year. I wonder if it was done as a new course. Everything worked fine last year. We'll look into it.

Also, if you have 2 lakes side by side and drift too far to the side on the ends, the automatic course detection can change the course and shut-off the timer.

@Kelvin, we have just one lake. At another site, I have seen my Zero Off get confused by side-by-side lakes. In one instance, it was timing for one lake while I was driving the other. I can see that the double mapping of a single lake would be a special case of the side-by-side issue.

@MISkier yep, a friend had double mapped his lake. ZO switched courses at each end. The wait timer didn't work until we deleted one of the courses.

Checked the boat. It is double mapped. I didn't delete any courses yet, but forced the boat to choose a specific course. The timer worked consistently then. When there isn't anybody else waiting to ski, I'll delete the courses and map just one. Thanks all.
