Seems like there's more to the story. I'm in full support of the course, and hope it can remain. Will share with others, but hope to get more info on what initiated this change in enforcement.

I agree @Than_Bogan is what USA-WS should be involved with. I think more information is needed beforehand though. Looking at the map, my major assumption is; this is at the back of a residential cove that is past no wake bouys, but responsible use of the course has been allowed or grandfathered in. Now, for some reason; complaint, issue, instance, occurrence, etc may have initiated them to uphold the no wake markings. Again, assumption, it would be great for someone familiar with the situation to inform of what they may be able to. Also find this comment interesting from the petition site;

"He has been skiing on this course for years, so it's not fair to let a bunch of punks who acted like idiots over Memorial weekend to ruin it for him!"

Fisherman outnumber skiers in Texas unbelievably. I had looked into putting a course in on some local lakes and was told no way. Good luck.
