zo requires ' throttle by wire '. if this engine has a mechanical throttle cable it can not use zo. thats probably not the only determining factor but no throttle by wire is a guaranteed deal breaker.

ZO requires an eControls ECM

@oldjeep which as I understand is only available on a few motors, mostly more recently produced motors such as the 343 ex.

 

I also am not sure I'd want to ski behind a diesel motor *cough*

After purchase and install, is there really any savings for you fellows across the pond? I would think you'd have to do a lot of skiing to break even.

@wtrskior It depends if they are also DEF engines...those things burn cleaner than gas, but damn are they a PIA!
