Baller_ RichardDoane Posted January 4, 2017 Baller_ Posted January 4, 2017 @jipster43 is in Montana I think
Baller sunvalleylaw Posted January 4, 2017 Baller Posted January 4, 2017 Looks like a nice place! That is pretty way up north. But not too, too far from I-90 I guess. Close to really good snow skiing too.
Baller Ralph Lee Posted January 4, 2017 Baller Posted January 4, 2017 I'm thinking waterski/hunting vacation
Baller Glock Posted January 4, 2017 Baller Posted January 4, 2017 Such a beautiful part of the country. I skied with Greg a few years back on Echo Lake. Great guy and passionate about skiing.
Baller bigskieridaho Posted January 4, 2017 Baller Posted January 4, 2017 Great! Did the lakes finally get done? I kept checking the website and it was old photos. Glad to see they are ripping on them now!
Baller_ Jody_Seal Posted January 4, 2017 Baller_ Posted January 4, 2017 Weather in the Flathead Valley between middle of may through the first of Oct is very pleasant , July through the first of Sept can see highs over 100 degree's, not often but does happen. Kalispell is on the East side of the Divide so the Crazy artic blast's do not normally overly affect the area. water temps in the Summer should be in the mid to high 70's. Because of the long summer day's one can expect to see skiers on the lake as late as 9 pm. As a rule of thumb Weather wise what happens in Seattle will happen the next couple day's in the Flathead. Glacier Park is 30 min Away from this site, The great Flathead lake 30 min away and thousands of square mile's of very rural and uninhabited mountains and forest. A mountain bikers paradise as well as the "Big Mountain" ski resort in close proximity. Having grown up in the Flathead Valley and on the Shores of Flathead lake it is a very beautiful place however winter can come early and stay long. A true four season sportsman's paradise.
Baller sunvalleylaw Posted January 4, 2017 Baller Posted January 4, 2017 Sounds similar to a less populated and gentrified Sun Valley area. But more water, and likely more snow. Which makes sense as it is pretty much nearly directly north of here, via Missoula.
Gold Member Than_Bogan Posted January 4, 2017 Gold Member Posted January 4, 2017 Beautiful looking place! But pretty much the same climate as Massachusetts.
