Such a beautiful part of the country. I skied with Greg a few years back on Echo Lake. Great guy and passionate about skiing.

Weather in the Flathead Valley between middle of may through the first of Oct is very pleasant , July through the first of Sept can see highs over 100 degree's, not often but does happen. Kalispell is on the East side of the Divide so the Crazy artic blast's do not normally overly affect the area. water temps in the Summer should be in the mid to high 70's. Because of the long summer day's one can expect to see skiers on the lake as late as 9 pm. As a rule of thumb Weather wise what happens in Seattle will happen the next couple day's in the Flathead.

Glacier Park is 30 min Away from this site, The great Flathead lake 30 min away and thousands of square mile's of very rural and uninhabited mountains and forest. A mountain bikers paradise as well as the "Big Mountain" ski resort in close proximity.

Having grown up in the Flathead Valley and on the Shores of Flathead lake it is a very beautiful place however winter can come early and stay long. A true four season sportsman's paradise.

Sounds similar to a less populated and gentrified Sun Valley area. But more water, and likely more snow.

Which makes sense as it is pretty much nearly directly north of here, via Missoula.

Sorry for the massive thread resurrection, but: Is this Rosewater open or private? I’m in the Flathead Lake area this week.
