I use a program called Speedify.com primarily for bonding several internet connections when I do live webcasts. They have servers all over the world. By default, the software selects the server nearest your location, but you can change it to any country you want. It is a paid service, but there is a free version that should be enough bandwidth to watch the world championships.

There are many ways to use and setup a proxy server. This is not the only one. I find that using the free websites usually prevent videos/extensions from working due to cookies and encoding issues.

Using Chrome:

Download Proxy SwitchyOmega Extension.

Under Profiles->proxy ->proxy servers: Protocol: HTTP. Server: 51.15.143.175 Port: 3128

(this is the server I am using. There are hundreds out there) Apply Changes.

Then go to World Champs Webcast Link

Enable the App by clicking the Applications logo at the top right of the screen. It is the grey donut shape. In the drop down click Proxy and reload the page. If the video does not start playing click the black box on the screen in french and enable the plugin.

I hope these directions are simple enough.

Use at your own digression and risk.

If the different slalom series are run on different days, what happens if the conditions are drastically different?

Any replay video? I would love to see how the pros handle these consitons.

P.S: go JMac go

@ntx and Corey Vaughn posting an awesome score of 2@10.75 for a tie for 6th place. He was scrambling to borrow a ski since the airlines didn't get his to Paris on his flight. Not sure if he ended up skiing on his or a borrowed ski but that's not the drama you want for sure!!

So there's a still frame making rounds of what looks like Will missing a ball for which he was scored. It's gotten some folks pretty worked up on Instagram where it was posted to a satire account. Very Zapruder-film-esque. Of course a still frame doesn't tell the full story. It's like how disgruntled football fans will take a one frame screen grab of what they think is Pass Interference and claim a tainted outcome... No idea what actually happened.

Anyways, there are also rumblings of the Italian team filing a petition of sorts. Anyone know what's actually going on?

@UWSkier that was one ball at 28th off on his opening pass. It went in the books as a complete pass. I'm pretty sure no one js actually happy about it but rehashing now is kind of pointless.
