freerider23
Hi there, I am new to the this site. I have been skiing for about 7 years now. I just hit the lakes and rivers. I reside in Orange County and would really like to take my skiing to the next level. I would like some instruction on how to better my skills and possibly even hit a course. I have not found too many places near me that offer these services. I believe its called "Ski The Great" in Newberry Springs only offers ski and stay packages. I am looking to be able to purchase sets or time. Either on public or private lake. I currently do not have a "tournament ski boat" I ski behind an old 19 ft outboard while on the river in Needles or local lakes such as Perris, Elsinore, Silverwood. Any help or guidance on where to go or who to call to get some instruction time in would be greatly appreciated. I look forward to learning a lot from this site and improving on the slalom as time goes on. Thanks
Administrators Horton Posted September 15, 2017 Administrators Share Posted September 15, 2017 @freerider23 Southern California possibly the hardest place in the country to get ski rides. When time allows I'm always happy to let a random Baller swing by my house in Bakersfield for a ride but I'm busy and I certainly don't run a school or sell rides for money. There is a ski club at Ironwood Lake in Bakersfield. There's also a ski club called the WetSet Ski Club that has weekends where they rent ski lakes in Newberry.
