CapnDean
Just listed 3 new ones on eBay for $150 a pop. They have never been installed. They sell for nearly $900 if you order one. Hope somebody can use. They don’t fit my boat.

Baller _ lpskier Posted November 9, 2017 Baller _ Share Posted November 9, 2017 Just checked on EBay and didn’t see them. Post them here and I’ll take all three if they’re as advertised. Lpskier

Baller powbmps Posted November 9, 2017 Baller Share Posted November 9, 2017 What boats are they for?
Baller oldjeep Posted November 9, 2017 Baller Share Posted November 9, 2017 WHo knows why that link isn't working now. Try this one - or just search for teak platform where the price = 150. Not that hard to find 3 platforms
Baller slvrbulit Posted November 9, 2017 Baller Share Posted November 9, 2017 Wow, that is a great price. I will measure my old one tonight and see if the dimensions are close.
Baller Dacon62 Posted November 9, 2017 Baller Share Posted November 9, 2017 Guessing those are all for different vintage Nautiques. The bottom 2 look like they are for the NWZ was it ‘90-‘96?
Baller BrennanKMN Posted November 9, 2017 Baller Share Posted November 9, 2017 I would have bought that in an instant if it would fit a TSC3 Nautique. I miss my teak platform. One of the things I really like about the new MC is they still offer teak.
Baller oldjeep Posted November 9, 2017 Baller Share Posted November 9, 2017 They make good coffee tables;) Too much work to have on a boat
Baller oldjeep Posted November 15, 2017 Baller Share Posted November 15, 2017 Well, this one is going to become a wine rack/bar for my wife's xmas present. Been looking for a while for a decent one for the project
Baller LeonL Posted November 15, 2017 Baller Share Posted November 15, 2017 @oldjeep some work maybe but after the work they look great again. My fiberglass (or whatever composition it is) one looks like crap what with the pad cracking and various scratches. No amount of labor will help the pad, it'll take $$ and more labor. Wish I had a teak platform for my '08 196.
Baller oldjeep Posted November 15, 2017 Baller Share Posted November 15, 2017 Heat gun, adhesive remover and about $100 worth of seadek or gatorstep can fix up a glass platform quick. Disassembling and reparing rotted wood takes a lot longer. But that's why there are choices;).
Baller BrennanKMN Posted November 15, 2017 Baller Share Posted November 15, 2017 @LeonL Couldn't agree more. I have a black 196 so teak really pops on it too. I have considered reaching out to the CCF guy who custom makes teak platforms. $380 bucks isn't too bad IMO. http://www.correctcraftfan.com/store/ Maybe someday... Baller ShererSkier Posted November 16, 2017 Baller Share Posted November 16, 2017 I think the teak platforms look way better than the fiberglass ones. Maybe I’m bias because I’ve had to repair and paint too many fiberglass ones. Even still the teak platform makes the boat stand out more, IMO. @oldjeep would you post some pics when you get done with the wine rack/bar project. That’s an awesome idea and I’d like to see it. Baller MDB1056 Posted November 20, 2017 Baller Share Posted November 20, 2017 Teak is old school buy way cool........ love it
Baller oldjeep Posted November 21, 2017 Baller Share Posted November 21, 2017 An interesting story came with the platform. Apparently they had been built for a lawyer who was suing one of the big boat mfg over a carbon monoxide related death. The platform has recessed plexi plates on the bottom to cover the holes in the platform. The platforms have just been sitting around in the lawyers office for years. Nice work, but they have to come off for my project.
Baller DW Posted November 21, 2017 Baller Share Posted November 21, 2017 Interesting and sad at the same time. Another reason for escalating boat prices.
Baller oldjeep Posted December 14, 2017 Baller Share Posted December 14, 2017 Little update on the project. The wine rack parts showed up yesterday, did a little test fitting and then stripped it down for primer. It'll be a satin black when im done. Lots of work to do before Xmas. Baller gregy Posted December 14, 2017 Baller Share Posted December 14, 2017 There was a girl a few years ago in Central Texas area that drown that was believed to have past out and drown on a platform due to carbon monoxide. Don't remember the details.
turbogoose
I replaced my fiberglass platform with teak on my 2008 Natique for $350 because the failed SeaDeck was going to cost me $450 to replace. Fortunately Teak Work is located close to me. So, shipping was not a issue. Teak World used to supply every platform for Correct Craft, Master Craft, Sea Ray and more. http://teakworldenterprises.samsbiz.com/
Baller Kelvin Posted December 14, 2017 Baller Share Posted December 14, 2017 As a winter project a few years ago I built a teak platform for my 2010 Nautique 200. I like it alot more than the fiberglass platforms.

Industry Professional Broussard Posted December 20, 2017 Industry Professional Share Posted December 20, 2017 I still don't understand why all manufactures don't offer teak platforms. Baller PatM Posted December 21, 2017 Baller Share Posted December 21, 2017 My 1995 Tige died in a fire but I had the teak platform in my cellar at the time of the fire. So I made a bar shelf out of it and mounted my old prop from my old 1999 SN below it. Makes a great bar.
Baller oldjeep Posted December 21, 2017 Baller Share Posted December 21, 2017 Need to pick up some shim material to mount top, but basically ready to go. Looks much better black. Picked up a case of her favorite wines to go with it. Should be done just in time for Xmas
Baller ShererSkier Posted December 25, 2017 Baller Share Posted December 25, 2017 @oldjeep are those slots on the second picture on the side to hang glasses from? It looks fantastic!
Baller oldjeep Posted December 25, 2017 Baller Share Posted December 25, 2017 @ShererSkier - yes. The slots hold glasses, although I'm seeing that I need to add a backstop so that they can't get pushed off the back. Just got it all brought in from the garage and loaded up. Did realize a few minutes ago that the bottle holders are all too small for Champaign bottles, so I guess they get to ride on top
