What does the terminology mentioned on the website "licensed tournament skier" mean? Licensed is mentioned twice, so it must have a significance.

@LeonL generally speaking it’s a level of membership that allows you to enter tournaments. The news membership structure at USAWS will include a “license” for tournament skiers. It allows the membership package to be more modular where you have a base membership and then “add on” licenses for various options - competitor license, officials license, etc. Its the functional equivalent of a “full member with insurance” today.
