Baller ColeGiacopuzzi Posted May 18, 2018 Baller Share Posted May 18, 2018 @theboardingschool no doubt. One of the few places you can ski lake to lake, always protected, skis insane. Plus you get to hang with Travis and Jimmy, oh and some crazy british guy named @FWinter when you go down there. shansen345
I would argue that Radar Lake in Washington has to be one of them. Site is beautiful, lake skis great and is easy to drive, lots of history, water is crystal clear, etc...

Baller 6balls Posted May 21, 2018 Baller Share Posted May 21, 2018 Lotta great sites...top 10 would have to be selected by people who ski a LOT of 'em cuz really who else would know. I may have my favorite but my comparison list is relatively short. My PB is at skiwatch so I like it there! Some places have magic water for some reason...and some have magic water with wind protection...I think magic water with wind protection in a climate where usage is year-round or nearly so would be the ticket. Baller Ed_Johnson Posted May 21, 2018 Baller Share Posted May 21, 2018 Skied a lot of the above mentioned, but the best kept secret is Angel Lake, between Houston and Austin. Magic water, set a PB at every Tournament I skied there.

Baller keithh2oskier Posted May 21, 2018 Baller Share Posted May 21, 2018 @Jmoski how do they get people to leave? Borderline Lake in Northern WA is probably one of the favorites I had from collegiate days. While I don't recall it skiing great (could have been the cold rain in May) it was such a beautiful ski site very similar to Radar above. Also those Washington kids knew how to cook fresh salmon over a bonfire. Way better than eating burritos in Bako... No offense to @Horton

Baller ski4xtc Posted May 22, 2018 Baller Share Posted May 22, 2018 @horton, I think you are thinking of SunTen Lakes in Rush Valley, Utah. Parsons and Rossi are owners at SunTen but they usually ski at Stillwater. Here is a photo of SunTen.
