New Trick Ski Help

I got into trick way late in life so I've got less than 1000pts of tricks in the bag. Basic surface tricks both ways and generally just enjoy riding the trick around the lake and goofing around. There is nothing better than swinging wide around the boat during a turn at the end of the lake on pure glass on a trick ski. Nothing. I have a 2009 D3 43" CX that I got brand new back then. I want to pass that one on to my wife and get something potentially easier to ride for me if that's even possible. 185lbs, and I usually ride about 18.2 mph. Should I get a 44" Aria or the new Graviton which boasts a different mounting pattern for the bindings (though I'm not sure what that does for me exactly). The Graviton is only available in a 43" at the largest. I guess I don't know if surface area should be a priority for a 44" D3 or if binding mounting should be the priority with the 18 Graviton. Basically I want to blow some money on a trick ski and would like something easier to ride, if at all possible, for this beginning tricker.

The Aria is a nice low drag ski. 44 is a good length. I liked the old D3 hard edge - these are better!

Quantum skis are great for bigger guys and available in big sizes. Amazing skis.

I haven't ridden a new Graviton. The old ones rode deep and I caught a few edges.

Your wife will love the old ski. That's enough reason for a new one. Get her a comfy Reflex or FM binding - and one for you too.
