I severely sprained my SI (sacro-iliac) joint in my right hip years ago, not sure if that’s what you did.

 

It was pretty brutal until it calmed down as no position laying down was comfortable.

 

PT was effective at treating it, though I still have some residual aches at times. Rolling it out with a rogue supernova ball is part of pre-workout routine now.
