Prop for a Nautique 196 with 6.0

It’s just a pretty good vibration. I’ve got a new 422 laying around that had been on my old 196 with the GT-40, but was thinking it was more prop than that 6.0 needs. The current prop shows no obvious damage, but all of the blade appear to be bent. It’s so uniform that you question it though.

I think I’ll put that 422 on it, just to see if that smooths it out. If that works, I’ll order the 668 (the altitude doesn’t get much lower without swimming).

Lol, so @Jody_Seal you got his message yesterday? That dude’s a trip. That boat is so awesome, I love that thing. It’s probably the 668 that you had on it originally. It’s due a new one, I’m pretty certain. Is it the OJ 428 XMP?

@aupatking Switched from a 422 to a 668 on my SN 6L and reduced overall RPM's,plus gave a much better pull with ZO. The 668 is basically a 422 with more CUP, but pulls much smoother. Best price was from Skip Dunlap that advertises on ski-it-again.

Different boat, but Eric at OJ just hooked me up with a custom 709, that he added some cup to. Lowered the rpm's and raised top end by 2-3 mph. He knows his stuff, and repairs your props for free if you buy from him.
