Baller bananaron Posted June 13, 2018 Baller Share Posted June 13, 2018 I have a 2018 HO Omni syndicate in the 67 with radar front boot and a wileys high wrap rear boot.Fantastic ski which is very easy to get up on and ski.Great all around ski especially for us older folks. Also just got a 2017 Radar 67 vapor with the same boot set up.Got a great deal from Suzi at Carolina water sports.....thanks!!! This ski really rocks and I think this summer means I will ski one in the morning and the other in the evening. Now my only question is what ski to use at my noon ski run?? Baller_ MISkier Posted June 13, 2018 Baller_ Share Posted June 13, 2018 Barefoot at noon. The worst slalom equipment I own is between my ears.

gt2003
Interesting pic. Thought the Omni might be a bit wider. Looking forward to hearing what you think.
Baller Chef23 Posted June 13, 2018 Baller Share Posted June 13, 2018 The Omni looks longer but it could just be the angle. The Omni looks like it has some more width in the nose.
Baller bananaron Posted June 13, 2018 Author Baller Share Posted June 13, 2018 @gt2003 @Chef23 The omni is wider and longer. Both skis are really fun to ski and it would be difficult to give one up.And barefootin is a good idea.....

Baller bananaron Posted June 15, 2018 Author Baller Share Posted June 15, 2018 Now that I have skied both skis several times and most recently both within minutes.I have to say that the Omni does feel wider and longer then the Vapor.I am getting to like the Vapor better as it feels faster and a little bit smaller which it actually is.Both great skis and I am having lots of fun skiing both. This is going to be one great summer of skiing........ Baller Bill22 Posted June 15, 2018 Baller Share Posted June 15, 2018 I am confused... How are you skiing when you only keep a boat for two days at a time? Have fun whatever ski you are on. B)
Baller Ed_Johnson Posted June 15, 2018 Baller Share Posted June 15, 2018 Because of Horton's great reviews on the D3 NRG, I bought one of those. Now Horton gives a better review of the D3 EVO, got one of those today. So my summer is going to be a lot like Ron's.

Baller bananaron Posted June 17, 2018 Author Baller Share Posted June 17, 2018 I just finished skiing the 17 Radar vapor and to be honest I love this ski.It is shorter and not as wide as the omni and I think it is faster across the wakes and accelerates!!For me right now its my best ski I have owned.I am not sure I want to go back to the omni after tonight. And this 08 MC 197 is a great boat and is dialed in now.I may not give it up!!!
