Need Radar Senate Advice on Size

I have read a ton of posts on hear about the sizing of the Radar Senate. I feel that I am right in between 67 and 69, hoping to get someone's opinion. I am 5'11", 220lbs (strong build). In my younger days I was running passes at 22' off @36mph, but now am just having fun at 32mph. I think the 67' will work for me, but I don't want to throw down that kind of money and get the wrong size ski. Should I consider the 69?

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks.

Steve

At your weight I lean toward 69 but, paired with your height and your described “strong build” 67 seems like it would be fine. *To me*.

I’m with you, buying a new ski at the wrong size is scary. That Senate is wide enough to carry a fair amount of weight without it working you too hard. The biggest thing is that 69 would be a lot of ski to turn. Height doesn’t matter as much as weight, in some respects, but in the turn, extra height is more of a lever. I think you’ll be very happy with the 67 Senate

I would ask Radar. They have some great people at the Radar factory. Subject to that, I'd go 69". I am a course skier, 195 lbs, and 6'2". I ski on a 69" 2019 Senate Pro, but only at 30 mph (M9 max speed). A couple years ago I had a 67" Senate. I prefer the larger ski perhaps because of the slow boat speed. It turns just fine and develops more speed easier than the 67 I had.
