BIO Series – For innovation/collection page
For a little peace of mind while you take another set or round the next buoy, the Connelly BIO series replaces a portion of the fiberglass used in traditional boards and skis with a more sustainable material made with fibers from the flax plant. Flax fibers have half the carbon footprint of traditional materials. This lightweight, high strength material sacrifices none of the performance so expect all the response and stability you are used to with a lower impact on the planet. As Connelly moves into the future, we will continue to seek out more sustainable materials in efforts to ensure that lakes, oceans, and rivers are maintained for generations into the future.

BIO SKI
Ready to boost your skiing performance and lower your impact on the planet? The new Bio replaces 15% of the fiberglass with Connelly’s proprietary BIO composite. Made with ampliTex™ flax fiber reinforcements, BIO composite has half the carbon footprint of traditional fiberglass. This lightweight, high strength material sacrifices none of the performance of the traditional V. Add the customization of Versatail and advanced profile technology and you are on your way to a new PB.
