The artificial lake Los Morros has already hosted some Junior World Championships, Under 21 World Championships, Pan American Championships, Latin American Championships, 2012 University World Championships and Americas’ Challenge. Gifted with privileged natural conditions and complemented with top edge technology, the Santiago artificial lake is today one of the most highly valued places by the European skiers at the time of crossing the Equator in search for the best temperatures when the winter comes.

Due to its strategic location and the presence of a natural tree wall at the west side, in Los Morros usually there is no breeze, which insures very promising conditions for the skiers. The lake is 850 meters long and 80 meters wide at the slalom and figure court, this size amplifies in the jumping area where it reaches a width of 100 meters.
