There are few words that can single handedly describe the young super star, Erika Lang. Her extraordinary talent flourished as soon as she clicked her hard-shell into her trick ski. In 2013 at the junior level Lang was untouchable and swept titles at US Nationals, Jr. Moomba Masters, Jr. US. Open and Jr. Worlds, as well as setting many records in tricks and overall. Lang became so dominant that she decided to compete in the Open division before she aged out of the junior divisions. This proved to be one of her best moves yet as she smashed the US Women's Trick record with 9,230 points in 2012. She continued on with a win at the Mandurah World Cup, a 2nd place finish at the World Games and many more. Though these accomplishments were indeed great feats, in 2013 Lang proved her true potential when she broke the Women's World Trick record with a massive score of 10,180 points. Lang was clearly the favorite at the World Championships in November 2013 and proved her ascendancy by taking the gold medal. It was only her second time competing at Worlds. Not only did Lang dominate the event, she also set a World Championship record with her score of 9,780 points in the prelims. For Lang, not even the sky is the limit.
