Orlando Water Sports Fest - Skier information

Qualifying event: Starts promptly at 8:00am

Qualifying will take place at Fluid Ski and Sport on Friday October 18th  at 8:00am. Seeding based on IWSF Elite Rankings List. The qualifying event is a 2 round record tournament.

• 10 slalom skiers go through to Lake Ivanhoe (Final Day)

• 10 Jumpers go through to Lake Ivanhoe (Final Day)

Slalom:

1st Round- Top 5 skiers qualify for Lake Ivanhoe (Final Day)

2nd Round- Top 5 skiers qualify for Lake Ivanhoe (Final Day)

Jump:

1st Round- Top 5 Jumpers qualify for Lake Ivanhoe (Final Day)

2nd Round- Top 5 Jumpers qualify for Lake Ivanhoe (Final Day)

Simi Finals (Lake Ivanhoe, Downtown Orlando):

Simi Finals will start at 12:00pm(noon) on Lake Ivanhoe in Downtown Orlando with 10 skiers. Seeding will be based on qualifying event scores. The Simi Finals and Finals event will be run as an “X” event.

Slalom: (4 Bouy Corse will be used. Boat spead will be 36mph)

10 slalom skiers- Starting rope length will be 32 off. (First skier starts at 12:00pm)

Jump:

10 jumpers- Ramp height will be 6 foot. (First skier starts at 4:30pm)

Finals:

Finals will start at 6:00pm with Slalom.

Slalom: (4 Bouy Corse will be used. Boat spead will be 36mph)
This will be a 6 man slalom final. The top 2 skiers will compete in a head to head super final.

- Starting rope length will be 35 off

Jump:

This will be a 6 man jump final. The top 2 skiers will compete in a head to head super final.
