Sesena´s Waterski

Sese%C3%B1a Waterski & Wakeboard Complex consists of two man-made, record capability lakes located near the community of Sese%C3%B1a, minutes away from the prominent city of Aranjuez, a half-hour from Unesco world heritage city of Toledo, and 30 minutes from historical center of Madrid. The complex is owned and operated by the Botas family; with coaching and operations directed by Ricardo Botas (IWWF recognized driver), his wife Cristina Medem, and Spanish record holders Nadine & Sandra Botas and Ivan Morros, and pulled by 6L Ski Nautiques 200.

The site has previously served as host for the 35+ Senior Worlds, E&A Junior Waterski Championships, E&A 35+ Waterski Championships, a number of Spanish National Waterski Championships and several International Record Capability events.

This coming season will take Sese%C3%B1a to the top of the tournament ranks with its 2015 line-up of headline tournaments %E2%80%93 five rankings-list capable in total between July and October!

The tournament calendar starts with the site hosting THREE HEADLINE EVENTS within the span of 10 days %E2%80%93 starting with the 2015 WORLD U21 WATERSKI CHAMPIONSHIPS at SESE%C3%91A from July 3th- 5th. Then immediately follows it up with its renowned SESE%C3%91A%C2%B4S INTERNATIONAL SUMMER SLALOM (2 round slalom tournament, ranking list, open to all categories) on 10thJuly 2015 and the NAUTIQUE BIG DAWG WORLD TOUR EURO STOP on the 11th-12th July 2015 in which Ricardo Botas will be joined behind the wheel with Becky Lathrop as Big Dawgs from around the globe battle it out to earn series points and walk away with the title of EURO BIG DAWG. The current line-up for this event already includes names like Andy Mapple, Fred Halt, Ivan Morros, Jason Seels, Jodi Fisher, Jez Newby-Ricci, ...

The notoriety of the site will continue as the lakes play host to the 2015 SPANISH NATIONALS on August 1st %E2%80%93 2nd 2015 and they will close the season with the SESE%C3%91A%C2%B4S INTERNATIONAL SLALOM, October 3rd-4th (4 round slalom tournament open to all categories.)
